SNJM Justice and Peace Network
How can you “enjoy” a meeting that discusses injustice, violence against women, and environmental destruction? UI Coordinator Michele reports that the week-long meeting with the Justice and Peace Network of the Holy Names Sisters provided wonderful prayer experiences, educational presentations, and opportunities for fun and fellowship. It’s very hard to fit such a rich experience into a few short paragraphs! You can find some of its activities described in the Flash Points. The picture above shows Catherine Ferguson facilitating a discussion, and some of the hard-working members of the group, which included representatives from Canada, Lesotho, Peru, and the USA.Michele also visited several members of CATHII (the Canadian anti-trafficking group created by Quebec religious communities) and Sister of St. Anne board member Lucille Goulet.
