Sister Gilberte Bussière Is Free!
According to a press release from the Congrégation de Notre-Dame, on June 1 (the day after they celebrated their great community feast of the Visitation) they learned of the release of their Sister Gilberte Bussière and fathers Marta and Allegri, who had been kidnapped on April 5 in Tchéré (Northern Cameroon). Sister Gilberte first went to Yaoundé, to be welcomed by Sister Thelma Renaud, Leader of the Notre-Dame-des-Apôtres (Cameroon) Region of the Congrégation de Notre-Dame. She is in good health, and now back in Montreal visiting friends and family. Her UNANIMA family rejoices with Sister, her community, and her family! See their website at www.cnd-m.org
