People’s Climate March

Mark your calendars! September 21, 2014 is the People’s Climate March NYC. In September, world leaders gather at the UN for a summit on climate change. As Ban Ki-Moon urges support for global agreements on reducing global warming pollution, civil society will take to the streets to demand concrete, urgent change: “a world with an economy that works for people and the planet; a world safe from the ravages of climate change; a world with good jobs, clean air and water, and healthy communities.” Tens of thousands of people are expected to join the march, including thousands of NGOs worldwide. We encourage everyone to take a look at the website to learn more about the movement:   And, if you’re in the NYC area, join the march! Check the website for updates, including location, meeting times, and other events.
