Good for You!

UNANIMA communities are doing wonderful things! UNANIMA was featured in an exhibit in Lachine, Canada, at the International Center for Social Justice. Representatives of several communities visited it in April. The Canadian communities in their organization called “CATHII” have been working to promote social protection in the Rio sustainable development discussion, and are calling for Canada to ratify the UN Convention on the Rights of Migrant Workers. The Irish UNANIMA communities have contacted all the conferences of religious in Ireland, England, Scotland, and Wales, asking them to support a ban on fracking. The Kentucky Ursulines contacted hotels and other tourist destinations in Louisville and alerted them to the issue of trafficking before the Kentucky Derby. And those are just the ones I know about!
