Collaboration for Human Rights Review of United States

Although the actual review will not take place until November in Geneva.  UNANIMA worked with Franciscans International and the International Presentation Association to present concerns about human rights in the United States in the areas of Homelessness and the right to adequate housing; migrant workers and the situation of mandatory detention and administration of justice; human trafficking; mining and its impact on the right of indigenous people to the highest attainable standard of health and to clean water; and the right to food in relation to the US policies regarding genetic engineering (GE) technology. Access the full report.
