Faith Leaders Webinar with State Department This Week

The Paris Agreement reached at COP 21 represented an important step forward in the fight against climate change, with faith communities from around the world stepping forward more than ever in support of a strong agreement.

On Friday, January 15, from 2:00-3:00 pm ET, join us for a faith leaders’ webinar and conference call for a briefing, in conjunction with the US State Department’s Office of Religion & Global Affairs, to hear an analysis of the agreement and its key features from State Department representatives. Karen Florini and Jesse Young of the Office of the Special Envoy for Climate Change and Dr. Michael Hamburger of the Office of Religion & Global Affairs will share their perspectives on the agreement and what it means for the United States.
